About Me
Matt Sprung is an associate broker with the Howard Hanna The Frederick Group. In addition, Matt is a licensed real estate broker in New Jersey.
His career in real estate started in 1984 when he started selling homes in Jersey City, NJ. Since then, he has additional experience with commercial, industrial, land and redevelopment opportunities.
Matt has spent many years serving on various boards and industry committees including Vice Chairman of the Morris County Planning Board, Commissioner on the New Jersey Housing Commission, Chairman of the Highlands Committee of the NJ Builders Association where he awarded the “Preservation of the American Dream” award for work done in protecting property rights in the Highland’s region. He spent 4 years on the Morris County Open Space Committee serving as Chairman in his last year.
As a student of the industry and passionate professional, he went back to school and earned a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning in 2010 from Rutgers University. He is a licensed professional planner and a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
In addition to his real estate work, Matt was the Port Manager for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s Port Jersey Marine Terminal for over 7 years where he was extensively involved with all phases of property management and maintenance, leasing and planning.
